How to Make New Year’s Resolutions Stick + A Special Holiday Offer
2025
Happy holidays everyone!
I hope this time has helped you all rest, relax, and spend time with loved ones before we head into the New Year.
Personally, I spent some time recharging and contemplating at a friend’s cabin in the mountains, before spending the holiday with family at home.
This time in the mountains helped me become more clear on the way Life wants to move me in 2025, which brought forth the topic of “New Year’s Resolutions.”
In the past, prior to the New Year, I would tend to create a mega-list of things I want to change about my life, and then try to make radical change all at once in the aura of “new year, new me.”
Pretty quickly, I would revert back to my old ways, with perhaps a few minor changes, and feel bad about myself because I wasn’t able to live up to my ideal.
This is quite common for many people when it comes to New Year’s resolutions.
They think of so many ways they are going to change in the New Year, and they even begin the New Year with vigor, but the fire burns out quickly and they revert back to their old ways within a couple weeks.
This is precisely why January 1st is often the most busy day for gyms, with numbers quickly dropping afterwards.
Through reflecting, I can see how my prior tendency to engage in New Year’s resolutions in this fashion stemmed from a lack of self-worth, which caused me to push/strive/grind towards my goals in a very egoic fashion.
I was operating from the belief that life is hard, and so I believed that I had to push and grind against all this resistance in order to be the person I wanted to be, do the things I wanted to do, and have things I wanted to have.
I imagine many people operate under similar beliefs when it comes to New Year’s resolutions, along with their overall life goals and aspirations.
A New Approach to New Year’s Resolutions
However, within the past couple years, I’ve taken quite a different approach to New Year’s resolutions that has proved itself to be far more effective than the egoic pushing/striving mentality.
Now, when it comes to New Year’s Resolutions, instead of focusing so heavily on questions such as “What do I want?”, “What do I need?”, “Who do I want to be?”, “How do I want to change?”...I now focus more on questions such as “How does Life want to move me?”, “What does the world need of me?”, and “What does God/the Universe want out of me next year?”
Know that I am not advocating that you abandon the first set of questions, they can still be important to contemplate.
What I am advocating for is that you give the second set of questions more consideration, because there is a significantly different energetic quality to these types of questions.
Do you notice the difference?
With the second set of questions, you naturally attune yourself to a deeper listening to the larger fabric of life, and are able to make decisions and operate from a place more in alignment with your true nature, which is fundamentally interconnected and at one with all of Life and all of Reality.
With the second set of questions, you are more able to put your ego to the side and start living your authentic life calling, which is doing the things that Life/the Universe/Source/God/your Higher Self wants you to do, rather than doing things from a purely egoic place.
What I’ve found for myself in making change in this fashion is that it feels so much more organic, natural, and easy.
It doesn’t involve making some massive, gargantuan change like the ego may desire to do, it typically just involves some subtle energetic tweaks and alterations in how you live your days.
Of course, the change could be major if that is what Life is genuinely imploring you to do, but in my experience that has not been the case.
Heading into 2025, for me there is a knowing that my work as a coach and creating videos on Youtube, as well as just interacting with people in my day to day life, ends up being far deeper and life-affirming when I am feeling good, alive, vital, and operating at a high vibration,
So naturally, I feel implored to do the things that make me feel good and keep the energy and vibe high within myself.
I feel I already do a solid job at this, but by cleaning up my diet and unnecessarily being on my phone so much I intuit the energy can be even better, so those are the areas where I will be making tweaks.
When it comes to determining what Life implores you to do, here is a few more questions that could be very beneficial for your contemplation:
What is Life trying to express through you that you might be resisting or not fully allowing to flow?
How is the Universe asking you to be of service in ways that might be different from your ego's plans?
How is Life inviting you to show up differently in your relationships and communities?
How is the collective consciousness of humanity asking for your unique contribution at this time?
How is Life asking you to shift your relationship with time, resources, and energy?
What patterns or synchronicities has Life been showing you repeatedly this year? What message might they be trying to convey?
What wisdom or teachings is the Universe trying to impart through your recent challenges and experiences?
Note: You don’t need the New Year to start asking these questions, you should be asking them consistently.
I hope this post and these questions were beneficial to you and aid in your becoming of Who You Are Meant To Be!
A Holiday Offer To You
For those who want to take an extra leap heading into the New Year, I am offering a massive discount for my coaching.
Since my plate is currently close to full, I am only going to offer this discount to 1 person.
Usually for a 3 month program I charge $777, but for this New Year special I am going to slash that price to $333 to the first person who is a good fit.
If you would like to work with me for a longer period of time, that works and we can work out the details accordingly.
If this interests you, you can book the Discovery Call where we will talk about you, your life, your unique situation and aspirations, and see if we are a good fit to work together.
Within that link to the Discovery Call will also contain further information regarding my coaching process.
